The "Tom-Tom and Nana" series of books is a passion that is passed down from mother to son. They are indeed the books of my childhood and the stories that I read to our son every night at bedtime.
When I learned that there was an Escape Game room in Paris on this theme, I rushed! The appointment was given at Kairos Escape Game, a room located in the 11th arrondissement specialized as its name suggests in the Escape Game with several scenarios: Tom Tom & Nana, Anatole Latuile, the Pirates of the Antilles and Athena Space Station.
But while this programming is 100% child-friendly, the waiting room on the other hand can seem a little intimidating for families. Nothing too serious of course, but I would as much like to avoid the apprehension that I felt the first times of the experience. While also knowing that the gentleman in charge of the animation is also let's say it quite worrying at the start but I imagine that it's part of the game...? Well…
Once the welcome and the instructions given, finally, we push the door of the fantastic world of TomTom & Nana…
An extraordinary and unique experience. My inner child was delighted, my real child too! The puzzles have several levels of difficulty in order to match the age of the participants. I really appreciated that my husband was there because beyond the happiness of sharing the good times, I'm not sure that I would have managed to solve everything on my own.I loved playing with my family for 1 hour without looking at a mobile phone.I loved bending over backwards to cross secret passages with our son and reintegrate the world of childhood.
I loved going in and visiting “La Bonne Fourchette”, the famous restaurant owned by Tom-Tom and Nana’s parents.
It was good.
