The House of Leonardo Da Vinci, Amboise 37

Did you know that in France, a few hours away from Paris, there is Le Clos Lucé, the final resting place of the great Leonardo Da Vinci?

This superb building located in the Loire Valley welcomed Leonardo Da Vinci in 1515 after François I named him "First Painter, Engineer and Architect to the King".

From here he worked on many projects for the King of France surrounded by his students. He received many distinguished guests there: heads of state, ambassadors, Italian artist friends present at the Court of the King and soon... you ?

We had a wonderful day here! Bby had a lot of fun testing the different inventions of the man who was described as an artist, engineer, architect and scientist.

What a lovely way to learn! Top outing and let's say it quite moving... What an honor to visit Leonardo's house and gardens...

Definitely one thing less on our bucketlist ! 🤗
