The Arc de Triomphe, Paris VIII

Born in Paris, I must have walked past this monument a million times, but it was this week that I climbed the Arc de Triomphe for the first time! Of course bby was there!

Before starting this article I would like you to know that there is an elevator to get to the top. Parisians being Parisians, no one downstairs had informed me of this little detail when I was with a short child, so it was by the spiral staircases and under a blazing sun that we climbed the 50 meters that separated us from one of the most beautiful views of Paris.

Once at the top the 360° view is breathtaking. Bby is amazed by the little cars of all colors" which circulate on the main avenues and which turn around the Place de l'Etoile. I am moved to see this monument filled with history so close.

For the descent, we followed a group who took the elevator, a beautiful glass elevator which offers a fantastic view of the interior of the monument. What a place!I recommend it to you 1000 times!Where:The Arc de TriomphePlace Charles de Gaulle75008 ParisPrice: (BOOK YOUR TICKETS, YOU WILL SAVE 2H)Free for children under 1813 € full price
