The Château de Chenonceau celebrates Spring

There's joy, hello hello swallows, there's joy ! Today we are celebrating Spring and what better place to do so than to visit the splendid Château de Chenonceau and its famous flower garden !

The Château de Chenonceau is one of the Châteaux of the Loire. Formerly the residence of François I, it was then governed exclusively by women, hence its name of "Château des Dames".

Each of its illustrious owners brought their mark and this is how, over the centuries, the Château de Chenonceau was built, embellished, protected, restored and saved.

Today the castle houses and has been for more than 20 years, a Floral Workshop unique in France. Two florists, including a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, officiate there every day of the year with a Flower Garden of more than one hectare at their disposal. …

We loved this place both for the castle and for its extraordinary gardens ! Beyond the Flower Potager you can also find a fantastic labyrinth that bby particularly adored, as well as a bee house and a donkey park.

A must go !
